Geer valley
Depart from Liers station for an unusual bike ride. In fact, this route will take you to isolated locales like Eben-Ezer Tower and its museum. This large flint-rubble tower is surmounted by sculptures of winged animals, representing the cherubim from the vision of Ezekiel. Inside, relive the adventure of this unique construction and discover the flint.
There are plenty of activities along the way: Eben-Emael Fort and its museum, Moulin du Broukay, and the remarkable natural site of Saint-Pierre mountain, which is famous for its orchids and its bats. Foodies will also enjoy salmon from Boirs, Liège wines from Heure-le-Romain, or Jodogne mushrooms from Saint-Pierre mountain, one of the last operational producers of cave mushrooms. This bike ride ends calmly along the Meuse to circle back to Liège.
