Stroll along the Meuse
This bike ride will take you along the banks of the Meuse and the Albert canal, in order to discover the natural, cultural, and historic heritage of Basse-Meuse. It mostly covers routes for cyclists and pedestrians or low-traffic roads. In summer, it is possible to do a loop by crossing the border from Lanaye (B) to Eijsden (NL), using the Cramignon ferry and following node points 76, 77, 420, and 414.
This bike ride also takes you close to the natural sites of Saint-Pierre Mountain (PN 412) and the Brock quarry pond (PN 44 – Hermalle-sous-Argenteau).
Eat and drink: there is a certain number of bars/terraces along the Meuse and some establishments in Hermalle-Sous-Argenteau and in Eijsden if you take the ferry.
