The small nature loop
After crossing the Hexapoda Park, which extends from the only museum dedicated to insects in Wallonia, you will head towards the ruins of the castle of Hollogne-sur-Geer to then go round the Hollogne-sur-Geer nature reserve. This site that was built to decant the water used to wash sugar beet, is made up of sixteen basins which form a mosaic of ponds where the fauna is quite simply remarkable. After walking along the Omal brook, you can enjoy the walk back to your starting point.
