Built in the 1960s in the middle of an isolated site in the Jeker valley , this tower was built with large flint stones from the nearby quarry by Robert Garcet. Its seven levels end with a terrace on the corner of which several sculptures of winged animal dominate the view. Inside, an exhibition recounts the building of the tower and Robert Garcet's pacifist action. A new educational space called "Geospadium" leads the visitor (from 9 years old) to the Cretaceous period to discover the process of flint stone formation and its use throughout the history.

Eben-Ezer tower

The spectacular Eben-Ezer tower dominates the valley of the Geer. Built in large chunks of flint rubble on a square base 33 metres high, it embodies some maturely reflected symbolism. Robert Garcet, its architect, left nothing to chance when he built it, from 1948 to 1963. At the top, each corner is surmounted by an immense concrete sculpture of a winged animal. The Bull, the Sphinx, the Lion and the Eagle represent the cherubs from the vision of Ezekiel. This is just one example of the tower’s symbolism. Inside, an exhibition reveals more of it: The Geospadium, an interactive educational space, conveys you into the world of the Cretaceous. The garden, with its European Exhibition of Fantasy Art, the theme of which changes every year, is also open as a conclusion to a tour between dream and mythology.
