Discover the history of this medieval site and admire the incredible items from the everyday lives of the brigands and knights from the Middle Ages at the Château Fort de Logne Museum!

At the foot of the château, there is the old “Bouverie” farmhouse, a listed 16th-century building, which houses the château's museum covering the period of the knights. Enjoy this exceptional collection from archaeological digs which have uncovered numerous traces of the lives of the mercenaries until the fortress was destroyed in 1521.

Hundreds of items such as wooden bowls, pieces of weaponry, pewter, leather elements, a portable sundial, tell the story of the Lognards, from their great battles to everyday life. All these vestiges are given meaning by the reconstruction of a house and Merovingian tombs, a medieval table and fireplace, the showing of a film on digs and a model of how the Château Fort de Logne looked before it was destroyed.

To visit this museum is to let yourself be carried away by the richness of this often-overlooked era! Already fascinated by this visit, young and old alike can also visit the ruins of the castle, its walls and its tunnels or marvel at the falconry shows held on site. All the ingredients to make the day an unforgettable family moment!

As visits to Château Fort and the Château Museum complement each other, you can get a Château Fort de Logne + Château Fort Museum pass.

These two visits can be enjoyed over two days!
