New routes in the Condroz

Autumn is here and the Province of Liège’s junction node network continues to grow! After the recent extensions in the East Cantons, it is now the Condroz’s turn to see its network expanded with 70 km of new routes, now connected to the Province of Namur.

Setting off from the Château de Modave, head for the castles of the Condroz

The big news about this extension is the inauguration of node 16, located at the foot of the superb Château de Modave. It marks the start of the “Boucle des Châteaux condrusiens”, a 32.5 km route between Modave and Clavier.

Along the route, you’ll be able to admire the private castles of Saint-Fontaine and Hoyoux from the outside whilst enjoying the Condroz countryside decked out in its autumnal colours.

Discover the route

The cycling route now passes by the tourist offices “Terres-de-Meuse” and “Entre Eaux et Châteaux”, which provide cycling maps and personalised advice on the region.

A strengthened historical link with the Province of Namur

These new extensions complement the RAVeL “du Hoyoux” (line 126) and provide a link to the junction node network in the Province of Namur. They thus offer new route options between Huy and Ciney.

Another new feature to discover is the ViciGAL, a 42 km greenway linking Huy to Yvoir.
