The integration of the new “Höhenrückens” section provided an opportunity to redesign part of the network in Amel. These new routes give greater priority to rural paths, offering more comfortable and safer journeys for cyclists.

Two new connections have also been created further north, starting from the RAVeL L45, whilst two new routes have been developed between Xhoffraix and Longfaye.

In total, nearly 70 kilometres of newly signposted network are now accessible in the east of the province.
These new developments have now been integrated into the main point-to-node route planners, such as nodemapp.com, fietsnet.be, fietsknooppunt.be, fietsknoop.nl, routeyou.com and lepointnoeud.com.
